As its name suggests, Taylor Swift Linux is a special edition of the Swift Linux operating system designed for Taylor Swift fans. While it is derived from the LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) GNOME distribution and built around the IceWM window manager, is uses a custom wallpaper and startup sound with the Taylor Swift singer.
It works on both 32-bit and 64-bit computer platforms
Taylor Swift Linux is available for download as a Live CD ISO image and has been designed from the ground up to support both 32-bit (i386) and 64-bit (x86_64) computer platforms.
Just like any other Swift Linux edition, the ISO image is hybrid and has approximately 700MB in size, which means that it can be used from a CD disc or a USB thumb drive of 1GB or higher capacity.
The live system can be started in normal or compatibility mode
While the live system will start automatically in 10 seconds from the moment the user boots the Live CD from the BIOS of a computer, you can easily access various advanced boot options by pressing any key on your keyboard during the 10-second timeout.
The IceWM window manager is in charge of the graphical session
IceWM, a low on resources window manager that supports low-end machines and computers with old and semi-old hardware components, is the default graphical environment of all Swift Linux editions. It looks like the graphical session of the Windows 98 operating system.
Taylor Swift Linux contains a great selection of applications
When using Taylor Swift Linux, you can send and receive email messages using Sylpheed, browser the Internet with Iceweasel, chat with your friends and family across multiple IM protocols using Pidgin, download torrents with Transmission, edit office documents with LibreOffice, view multimedia files with GNOME MPlayer and edit image files with mtPaint.
